The problem

Every event lands on the same few volunteers.

Iftars, Eid banquets, fundraisers, halaqas, youth nights. Most of the planning, staffing and announcements fall on one or two people who are already giving their evenings and weekends.

Planning from scratch, every time

Timelines, checklists and budgets get rebuilt in group chats and spreadsheets for each event.

Chasing volunteers

Figuring out who's free and who's good at what takes dozens of messages, and gaps show up the day of.

Writing every announcement

The same details rewritten for WhatsApp, Instagram and the email list, often late at night.

Things that get missed

Prayer times, accessibility, cleanup crews: the details everyone remembers only after the event.

How it works

From one sentence to a ready-to-run event.

1

Describe the event

Add the date, time, guest count and budget, plus your volunteer roster. Plain language is fine.

"Eid banquet for 150 people, Saturday evening, $2,500 budget."
2

Khidmah plans and staffs it

Specialist AI agents build the logistics, match tasks to your volunteers, and draft every announcement.

3

Review, then share

A built-in audit flags what's missing. You review, export to your calendar, and send the announcements yourself.

What you get

Everything an operations team would hand you.

A complete plan

Timeline, task checklist, budget breakdown and supplies list, built around the details you give it.

Volunteers matched

Tasks assigned from your actual roster by availability and skills, with gaps flagged instead of guessed.

Checks its own work

An audit step reviews the plan for prayer times, accessibility, food safety and cleanup before you share it.

Every announcement, drafted

Ready-to-edit copy in your community's voice, with Islamic greetings and all the key details.

Calendar export

One click adds the event and its prep deadlines to Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook.

Our story

"Khidmah" means service.

Khidmah AI started from organizing community events as a student volunteer and seeing how much time coordination takes. It won the Niya Summit "Founder in a Day" competition, and we're now building it alongside our first pilot communities.

Questions

Frequently asked

Do we need any technical setup?

No. Khidmah runs in your web browser on a laptop or phone. Pilot partners get an access code, and we help set up your first event.

Does Khidmah send announcements on its own?

No. Khidmah drafts everything, and you decide what to share. You can copy a draft or email it to yourself and send it from your own account.

What happens to our volunteer roster and event details?

They're sent to our AI provider to write your plan. Khidmah doesn't keep them on its servers; your roster is remembered only in your own browser.

Can the AI get things wrong?

Yes, which is why every plan goes through an audit step and why we ask you to review dates, prayer times, costs and names before sharing. Khidmah isn't a religious authority, so anything religious should be checked by your imam or board.

We already have a pilot code. Where do we go?
